Saying a big goodbye to 2015 and looking forward to ringing in 2016!
Since the Holidays in general really crept up on us, neither of us bought anything special to wear on New Year’s this year.
So we’re showing you how we pulled pieces from our closet in order to create some fun and affordable ensembs!
//Pop of Sequins//
These sequined leggings are so comfy, but look perfect for NYE! Pairing them with a comfy longline sweater tones down the sequins a bit if you’re wearing these to a house party or something more casual.
//Pop of Metallic//
I bought this metallic silver cardigan at Nordstrom Rack last year for under $8! It is so perfect topped over any black dress because it just bumps it up a notch.
You could easily replicate this look with a metallic or sequined blazer or sweater!
//Pop of Gold//
These pants are from Forever 21 but look and feel way more expensive! We paired them with a faux leather top to edge them up a bit for a chic New Year’s look.
You can take any dress pants you have that have a metallic detail and style them for NYE. Or you could reverse the ensemb and pair any metallic detailed blouse with a basic black bottom.
I am legitimately obsessed with jumpsuits. I buy way toooooo many, but I love them!
It is a whole outfit in one and makes it so easy to get ready!
This jumpsuit is from Forever 21, and I wore it last year for New Year’s. It is unbelievably comfy, and I love the gold threading throughout.
Tee wore this H&M jumpsuit last year for New Year’s and since it was all black she bumped it up with some glittered accessories.
This Kate Spade glittered bow belt was a steal at Marshalls for $10!
We loved our New Year’s looks last year! Since it was chilly we threw on a leather jacket and black blazer for our walk over to the event.
We’re still unsure of which of these looks we’re going to pick to wear to ring in 2016. Let us know what you think and what you’ll be wearing to celebrate!
Happy New Year’s!!
