One of the best parts about our mini Disney vacay was experiencing a deliciously fresh and new drink!! Kat and I decided to hang at Il Mulino’s bar and boy was it a greatttt idea!
I decided to order one of their speciality drinks to go ahead and try something fun and new. Let me tell ya, it was well worth it! I ordered what they called an Aperol Spritz. It sounded super light and refreshing, and the main ingredient was Prosecco so how could I resist?!
Since Kat and I loveddd it so much, we decided it would be festive to recreate the drink for Fall (especially because they’re orange in color hehe) They literally take 1 minute to make and were just as delicious as we remembered so we def recommend them!
Recipe:
1 1/2 ounces Aperol
3 ounces {or more depending on taste} Prosecco or sparkling wine, chilled
Sparkling mineral water or club soda, chilled
1 lemon or orange slice or twist
Fill the glasses with the Proseco {we used larger glasses so we filled them about halfway}, then add the Aperol and a splash of club soda. Garnish with the orange and you’re good to go!
This makes a fairly large drink, but because it is so light and not sweet, it’s easy to drink haha.
As for the Prosecco, you can use any brand, but the bar specifically used Cupcake. The Aperol is the most expensive ingredient, but you only use a little anyway so you definitely can get several drinks out of the bottle!
If you’re looking for a fun, fresh, and easy Fall drink recipe- this is it! Reminder it’s not super sweet but the Prosecco gives it just the perfect amount sugar!
Please share with us some of your fav drink recipes, and tell us what you think about this one!!
It’s the most wonderful timeeee of the year!
Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival is a must for us every year. It is so fun to travel through the countries and see what delicious dishes & drinks each one has to offer.
If you have never been, we definitely recommend hitting it up at least once! It runs through November 14th this year.
Here is our trip roundup!
We had such an amazing trip and of course can’t wait to return!
I’m always soooo envious of those girls with super long, thick hair that just has so much body!
Mainly I’m jealous of Selena Gomez’s hair in those Pantene commercials haha! It’s so thick and you can style it so many different ways. Even though my hair is somewhat long, it never seems to reach the actual length I want, and it’s usually pretty thin.

Black and white is classic for anytime of year. If I’m ever in doubt of what to wear my go-to is always a black and white ensemb! It looks chic, put together, and works for any occasion.
I am obsessed with this dress from Make Me Chic! It is under $30 and sooo comfy! It is perfect paired with some over the knee boots for Fall.
The embroidery on this dress is so gorgeous! When the weather gets cooler it will look so chic with a pair of black tights.

Tee put together a classic black and white Fall look!
You can’t go wrong with black denim and a white flowy blouse! Tee paired it with some lace-up booties which are perfect when the temps drop.
Btw how amazing does Tee’s hair look?! We got the opportunity to try out Irresistible Me Extensions and they are aaaamazing! We can’t wait to tell you more about them next week!

You can never go wrong with simple yet classic colors such as black and white. They are essential staples in everyone’s wardrobe and are such easy colors to pair pretty much anything with.
I think I made it clear that although I live in Florida, I am a hoarder of jackets and coats!! I always feel so chic and trendy when donning one of these items, so for this post I decided to focus on my new personal fav jacket from MakeMeChic!
This faux leather jacket is just absolutely perfect. It’s not too heavy and not too biker looking haha but it has that perfect touch of grunge and style.
I love the zippers on the arms and buckle details on the back!
It is nice and light which makes it perfect for Fall. Since our Fall season here in Florida doesn’t really resemble actual Fall temperatures haha, I decided to pair it with a tank from Urban Outfitters.
One of my favorite things about the jacket, are the shoulder details- they create a nice structured edge! I feel like it gives the jacket a rocker look so I chose to wear some frayed distressed jeans from Forever 21 and black lace up boots also from Urban Outfitters.
The price of this jacket is sooo affordable {under $50!!} and the quality and appearance really pleasantly surprised me. I paired it with this casual outfit, but one of my fav things is that I could dress it up by swapping out the tank for a blouse or even a dress!
Kat got decked out in all black because like I said it’s just one of those colors that looks fab on everyone! She wore a simple long black muscle tee.
To give it the edgier vibe, she paired it with some faux leather leggings from Cotton On! We both love to incorporate that leather look into our outfits because it can be dressed up or down and is super chic!
This oversized and flowy beige cardigan is from Forever 21 along with her black tank. This cardigan is so nice and light but super comfy for those cooler Fall nights!
Her black booties from Gojane really pop out in this ensemble because of the lace up detail on the back! {Bonus they’re under $30!!} They really do compliment the rocker vibe along with her earrings.
My faux leather jacket and Kat’s boots are currently on sale!
Both are linked in their respective sites!!
As you all know, I have quite the sneaker addiction, but I’m pretty particular when buying a pair of sneaks. I even like to stay to a specific make and style-mainly Nike Stefan Janoksi’s. I’ve mentioned my love for Janoski’s a few times in posts, but my collection is quite extensive.
Of course Nike’s can be pricey and Stefan Janoksi’s are no different. Luckily, almost every pair I own has been purchased on sale! And recently I have gotten so lucky at finding an abundance of these shoes for dirt cheap prices at random stores and websites! So, for all you other Nike lovers out there I wanted to share with you my recent finds and places to check for great deals.
First up is Marshalls!
Most Nike Stefan Janoksi’s are unisex, but are typically placed in the men’s shoe section so I always make sure to check it out. I wear a woman’s 8.5 so that makes me a size 7 in men’s. So whatever your size is in women’s shoes, just go down 1.5 sizes and that is your shoe size in men’s! I luckily found these Stefan Janoski’s for just $20 at Marshalls on clearance. They are black with a mint green raised pattern!
One of the reasons these are my favorite shoes, is because they are a sneaker shaped like a shoe. They’re not bulky or too athletic looking, which makes them perfect for sneakerheads like me haha.
My newest pair is from Ross. I found them for $34 not on sale. I knew I had to scoop them up for that price!
The smudged polka dots really made these stand out, and I liked how the colors were fairly neutral being they are black, white, and cream.
The next two pairs I’m about to share with you all are both ordered online from Skatepark of Tampa. Both pairs were on sale for $25 each! I just randomly searched on their one day found them on sale, and $25 is an absolute steal for these mid-top Janoski’s.
These maroon mid-rise Janoski’s are my favorite! I love that they have a gum sole and of course maroon is my fav color!
These camel colored suede mid-rise are so perfect that I can’t wait to wear them for Fall. The navy blue check and laces really pop on this color, and the checkered flannel pattern on the inside is just too cute!
Although my collection is much more extensive, these are the pairs that I recently purchased over the last few weeks for such affordable prices!!!
Stores like Marshall and Ross (I constantly find pairs there) are great places to find these shoes at a discounted price. However online sites like, Skatepark of Tampa, Tactics, and even Nike are great places to frequent when looking for a specific shoe. Even Ebay will sometimes have lower prices, it’s always smart to check multiple places. Sometimes you just get lucky!
Share with us some of your fav kicks and why you can’t get enough of them!
While stores are beginning to fill their racks with sweaters, scarves, and coats it can be hard to imagine wearing these pieces anytime soon. It’s that odd transitional period where I don’t know if I should buy more warm weather clothing to wear now or stick to scooping up more Fall staples.
Browsing SheIn I found so many great pieces that I can wear now & later! And because their pieces are so affordable I can grab a bunch of items to style the end of Summer anddd throughout the Fall season.
BTW Nothing is over $35!! They are also offering FREE worldwide shipping today {yay!!}
Currently in our cart:
{I love how easily these dresses could be transitioned into Fall when paired with ankle boots!}
{Tee and I are both obsessed with this camo t-shirt!}
{Loooving the mesh insert on this sweatshirt-makes it so chic!}
{3 must-have outwear pieces!}
{These ankle booties will go with everyyything and are all $30 and under!}
Let us know which of these pieces are your favorite!
Who doesn’t love getting ready on the weekend?! I mean you know you’re getting ready to go out get dinner, drinks, etc. and NOT go to work haha.
Soooo, when it’s the weekend, Kat and I wanted to show you all what we like to wear. Kat styled her outfit with her taste in mind and my inner self shows in my outfit too.
Kat loves the dresses because they’re so comfy and can be dressed up or down! She chose this lovely patterned and colored dress from boohoo!
Her white earrings go lovely with the blue and orange color in the dress. And of course who could forget about the other accessories!
With Fall right around the corner, the colors in her dress and her grey suede heels with that fringe detail are absolute perfection.
This outfit isn’t too dressy that you would feel out place, but it’s simplicity and comfort make it perfect for those weekend escapades.
As expensive and fancy as these shoes look, Kat found them from none other than Charlotte Russe! This color is just absolutely perfect all while being neutral! Unfortunately, Kat’s style of shoe is sold out so I linked a similar style HERE.
My style doesn’t really incorporate many dresses into it haha, but even though I like to wear outfits that are comfy, I still try to make sure they can be dressed up if need be!
For this dinner outfit, I chose my new favorite jogger pants from TJMaxx and a plain white tee. I linked a similar pair of khaki joggers for only $20 HERE
This khaki jogger pant was on clearance for $12 and they are the comfiest clothing item (besides a hoodie haha) that I own!
Adding just a basic white tee from Marshalls kept the outfit looking clean and neutral while not being to casual for a night out! I linked a similar white tee-shirt HERE.
I added the heels as the final boost taking my ensemble one level up. Kat actually bought these gorgeous coffee, cognac colored heels from Asos. They are very comfy and not too high! I linked a very similar style/color HERE
We’d love to see some of your favorite weekend styles! Feel free to check out our Instagram pages or comment on the blog!
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s style is always enviable. She is gorgeous and her style is always so chic and put together!
We were so excited to recreate two of her Fall transitional looks for a much more affordable price.
//LOOK #1
Tee loved Rosie’s travel style and knew she could recreate the look with pieces from her own closet.

To finish off the look she stacked some bangles along with her gold watch.
LOOK #2//
I am obsessed with this look! I have been loving bomber jackets lately and I think Rosie styled it so perfectly with a grey T and some ankle boots.
I know I’ll be wearing this outfit all Fall and Winter long!

Skincare is one of the most important things to take seriously. With all the make up and climate conditions we deal with on a daily basis, it is important to protect our skin! Whether is super hot and sunny or dry and cold, finding the right product for you is essential! And applying all different makeup on our skin and constantly touching our face with our hands {guilty!} isn’t the best either, so we need to be sure that we used products that can restore our skin to our natural selves haha.
Here are some of our current favorites!
Tee’s {skincare} Faves
One of the newest face washes I’ve tried…and loved is the Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser. It has some exfoliating beads which really help by getting into your pores and clearing out the dirt! It also leaves your skin feeling nice and smooth!
Another Biore product that I can’t get enough of is the Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser. This is one of my favorite face washes because it makes my face feel soooo good after I use it. Something in the cleanser leavings your face feeling super cool and refreshed, and anything to get rid of black heads is right up my alley. I actually recommend using the baking soda first and then the charcoal cleanser since one exfoliates and the other foams and cleans.
The next two face wash options that rotate in and out of my shower are Garnier Blackhead Eliminating Scrub and the St. Ives Green Tea Blackhead Clearing Scrub. Both of these products are phenomenal exfoliators. I’ve had friends use them and not like how rough they are on their skin. I, on the other hand, love how many beads are in these washes because I feel like they are deep cleaning my pores and taking all the dead skin, dirt, and makeup off of my face.
I love the St. Ives mainly because it calms the redness on my face and takes away my cherub cheeks haha. As you can see though, a main theme throughout my cleansers is that they all help clear blackheads. Both of these washes really help to soften the skin!
Kat always tells me how crazy I am for using my face cleansers as makeup removers, but I truly love it simply because it works! It takes all my makeup off while ridding my skin of blackheads and acne! Who doesn’t want that in their life?!
Kat’s {skincare} Faves
I’ll be honest having super oily skin has in the past scared me away from moisturizing my skin! I was afraid I would just make it more oily-which in turn is the complete opposite of what if actually does. I’ve really been into skincare lately and have already acquired a few must have products.
I have been obsessed with this Phyto Replenish Oil from Dermologica. You know I have been loving that glowy, luminous skin and this product has seriously changed the game. I put this on under my moisturizer before I do my foundation and I swear my foundation applies so much nicer!
Use code KATHRYNN20 for 20% off on Dermalogica!
My favorite night cream has been the H2O Plus Waterbright Illuminating Night Cream.
I feel like this has made my skin so much brighter and reduced dark spots from any scarring I’ve had. It feels great on the skin and I love that it has a pump that pushes up the perfect amount of product. You don’t have to dip your hand in the jar or question how much to apply!
To take off my makeup I alternate between two products. My ride or die is definitely the Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser. I have used this for years and swear by it. It exfoliates your skin without any beads and leaves it looking radiant and refreshed.
A newer product I’ve been using to remove my makeup every night is the Juice Beauty STEM Cellular Cleansing Oil. It removes my makeup and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or dehydrated.
It is definitely a different type of product because you rub the oil on your dry skin first breaking down your makeup, then you add a bit of water. I’m loving how luminous my skin feels after I pat it dry.
My last go-to skin care product are definitely my Pond’s Evening Sooth Makeup Wipes. I’ve tried so many makeup wipes in the past and these are my ultimate favorites. I use them to remove my eye makeup and any trace of face makeup that is left after cleansing.
They now have Cold Cream technology built in which I love because I feel like they are extra soothing. I definitely can’t live without these!
We’d love to hear some of your skincare favorites and recommendations. We are all about trying new products and are always on the lookout for some new favorites!
