When we were introduced to JORD watches, it was pretty much love at first sight. All of their watches are handmade of wood, which is not only unique but so chic.
When JORD reached out to us about collaborating we were so excited to try one of their watches out. The best part is that JORD has offered a giveaway for Fashion without the Fortune readers!
G I V E A W A Y details
One winner will be chosen at random by JORD’s computer system and will win a $75 e-voucher to their site. The coolest part of this giveaway is that everyone that doesn’t win will be given a $20 e-gift card just for entering!
Click here to enter the giveaway! The winning e-voucher will expire 1 month after the giveaway end date which is July 24th.
Good luck!!
We incorporated some of our absolute fave fashion ensembles styled around our JORD watch! Not only do we love how timeless and light the watch is because it is made of wood, but it’s perfect because you can style it with any outfit you want!
Kat paired it with a simple Summer dress, hat and threw on some added bangles and rings!
This outfit is perfect for a nice casual day out for lunch! We love that this watch is so versatile so you can wear any outfit or accessory with it!
We wanted to show you that this watch can be styled many different ways so I chose to style it with a perfect Summer outfit!
I kept it very simple with white shorts and flowy top. Since I was heading out to dinner I wore my suede pink/beige Steve Madden heels from Marshalls.
I wanted the watch to be the focal point of my outfit so I chose to wear no other accessories!
I knew the pink in my blouse and heels would compliment the wood watch nicely!
As all of our blogger friends know, I am obsessed with watches especially ones of quality like Michael Kors. After collaborating with JORD and receiving the watch, I seriously couldn’t be happier.
Kat and I have gotten so many compliments, and because of how lightweight it is we don’t even know we’re wearing it! It is one of the classiest and stylish pieces of jewelry I own!
Unique Watches
One Summer trend that I cannot get enough of is off the shoulder pieces. They are so flattering and fun!
I am obsessed with this off the shoulder dress from SheIn! The material is so soft and I love the tassel detailing at the waist and neckline!
Tassel details this Summer is another trend obsession, am I right?!
I love that the waist is adjustable as is the neckline. You can tie the neckline or leave it open like I did!
Dress: c/o SheIn [under $25!!]
Sandals: Charlotte Russe [similar here and here]
Earrings: Francesca’s
Watch: JORD
This gorgeous off the shoulder blouse is perfect on Tee.
She styled it with some white shorts and her favorite mustard loafers!

The fact that the 4th of July is already fast approaching means Summer needs to sloooow down! Last year on the Fourth we celebrated in the Smokey Mountains which was so much fun!
This year we don’t have any fun road trips planned, but I know we will celebrate and of course, dress for the occasion.
We created some fun looks for the 4th and linked a bunch of fun options down below as well!
Top: Cotton On
Jeans: J Crew
Striped Flats: Marshalls
Purse: Michael Kors

Brunch on the weekend (or any day) is always a good idea! Whether you finally got a reservation at the place you’ve been wanting to try, or you just need some food in your stomach after that alcohol filled Saturday night, you must have something to wear!
Kat and I put together two ensembs each for the specific brunch outing!
With the hot summer air and mild breezes among us, Kat loves to opt for a flowy dress. The off the shoulder look is quite the trend and it just so happens that this gorgeous blue and white striped dress features that!
This dress is from Shoptiques {it is currently sold out, but they have an email notification to be messaged when it’s restocked!}. She loves how airy and light it is because let’s be real, in these high 90 degree temps we endure here in Florida, it is important to pick an outfit that’s cool and comfy. Aaaand that allows you to stuff your face at a brunch, of course, haha.
Kat paired her dress with some nude lace up heels from Windsor and her brown leather Tory Burch clutch that she bought on sale of course!
And of course it’s a must to accessorize, so she paired her Kate Spade studs with a mix of bangles and her Michael Kors watch!
For my casual brunch outfit, I chose to wear clothes that I literally could throw together in a min.
I chose to wore my $5 tee from Cotton-On because it was perfect for a brunch outing haha.
I paired it with my new Nike hat so I wouldn’t have to worry about fixing my hair or even my makeup that much. All I was focused on was eating haha. I paired the outfit with some black faux fur flats and a Coach oversized bag.
To give it that Summer vibe, I added some white boyfriend shorts and added some gold and black bangles-to show that I tried to put in some effort!
Since most of our stuff is sold out unfortunately, I linked some similar affordable options!

There are so many fun trends out there this season, we thought it might be fun to feature a few of them on the blog including some affordable shop-able options!
First up: Embroidered Details
Now for me embroidered details remind me of fun tropical vacays! Think pool days & piña coladas {getting caught in the rain}.
Embroidery just amps up a basic top and dress for Summer!
Here are some of the pieces we are loving:

Now here on Fashion without the Fortune, you know we are allll about the affordable fashion find. We like amazing quality pieces for loooow prices. Which brings us to our new obsession- thredUp.
If you’ve never heard of thredUP, it is an online consignment shop, so you are able to sell and buy clothes! One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, am I right?!
The best part is they have some of our favorite brands and stores [Zara, TopShop, J Brand, Free People] and they share pictures anddd list the condition of the items .
Tee picked out this light pink Ralph Lauren button down. She loves classic button downs for work and even more casual looks! A quality button down is a super verstatile piece to have in your closet.
This top was listed in excellent condition and it seriously looks brand new.

Whatever you want to call them, they’re my absolute go to shoe! I know they really aren’t a great fashion choice, well maybe some of them, but they’re pretty much a staple in everyone’s closet. And I’m just getting used to the whole high heel comfort thing haha. Continue Reading
The first day of Summer is June 20th which is a couple of weeks away, but here in Florida those Summer, pool party temps are already happening.
Beach days, pool hangs, and whatever other water activities you’re into [water-balloon fights anyone!?] are quickly approaching if not already occurring where you live. So we haveee to break out the swimwear, am I right?
Swimwear shopping for us personally is not something we’re too excited about. Don’t get us wrong we love a cute suit, but heading to a dressing room to try on swimsuits in often terrible lighting caaan send your day into a downward spiral.
So instead of torturing ourselves in a fitting room we’ve linked some of our current favorite {affordable} suits that you can order online, try on in the comfort of your home, and send back if you find they are not the right fit for your bod.

1.Lace Up Heels
Now my number one favorite in March was lace up sandals, so obviously there is a trend happening here! I just can’t get enough of the lace up trend. These three pairs were so incredibly affordable, which made them even more of a favorite to me!
The black Forever 21 pair is currently sold out but I’ve linked the other two here and here!

Incorporating color into our Spring wardrobes is one of the most fun parts about dressing this season. We love bright pieces that have unique features and details, but of course they have to be affordable!
Tee scored this gorgeous Vince Camuto coral top from Marshalls for under $15!
We absolutely loved the sheer details on the top and hemline. It is so light and airy-perfect for Spring.
She paired the top with some charcoal leggings and bluish-grey wedges.
The bright pink pops so perfectly against the grey bottoms!
She finished off the look with these stunning earrings from ILYMIX.
Don’t forget to use our code KathrynNicolaus20 for 20% off your purchase!
As you know by now, I have been lovinngggg overalls back in my life, so when I saw this pink overall dress was an extra 20% off during a CottonOn sale I had to snatch it up!
To keep the look casual, I paired it with an off the shoulder black and white striped T from Zara and some classic white Converse.
This look is so unbelievably comfy!
Let us know how you’ve been styling some bright colors into your wardrobe this Spring season!
