We always love finding the perfect gift for our Mom on Mother’s Day. Sometimes it can be hard to be creative when you feel like you’ve done so many of the standard, typical gifts.
So this year we thought to ourselves, what’s something that our Mom never takes the time to do for herself? And we figured it out-RELAX!!
L’Occitane is a brand that is always synonymous with luxury. From their amazing fragrances to spa night necessities, we figured how could we go wrong gifting our Mom one of their gift sets.
We chose the Lavender set because we knew this scent would allow her to relax and unwind. It comes packaged so beautifully {no gift wrap needed!} and with the perfect products for Mom’s spa night in.
Lavender Foaming Bath
Mom can run a relaxing bath with this amazing foaming bath. It smells sooo good.
Lavender Perfumed Satchet & Bonne Mère Lavender Soap
Could this soap be any prettier?! It cleanses without drying and leaves skin so soft.
Lavender Hand Cream
I have always loved L’Occitane hand cream. It is so incredibly moisturizing without leaving hands feeling oily.
Lavender Scented Candle
The perfect finishing touch to this set is the candle. Light it while enjoying a relaxing bath!
Mom’s deserve a relaxing day, which they often don’t get the chance to do. We can’t wait to gift this set to our Mom on Mother’s Day!!
L’Occitane has tons of other Mother’s Day gift options and are offering Free Shipping!
Happy Mother’s Day to all you Moms out there!
This post was sponsored by L’Occitane but all opinions are our own.
Cinco de Mayo is on a Friday this year, which couldn’t be more perfect amirite?!
Last year we posted our favorite mango margarita recipe in celebration of the holiday, so we decided this year to again post a fun, festive marg recipe.
This one is super easy and refreshing! When I originally found this recipe, the so called “best margarita you’ll ever have” I was intrigued. I’ve made it quite a few times now always thinking yes this is seriously the best classic margarita of liiiiife!
INGREDIENTS
Ground sea salt
2 ounces (1/4 cup) tequila (labeled white, silver or blanco, I used El Padrino)
1 1/2 ounces (3 tablespoons) fresh lime juice
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) fresh orange juice (adjust based on desired sweetness)
1 teaspoon simple syrup or light agave nectar (adjust based on desired sweetness)
1 lime wedge or round, for garnish
TO DO
Pour layer of salt onto small plate.
Slice off a small piece of lime and run the edge along the rim of your glasses.
Dip the tip of your glass and roll it side to side to coat the rim.
Add ice to glasses and set aside.
Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
Pour in the tequila, freshly squeezed lime and orange juice and simple sugar OR agave nectar.
Put on the lid and shake for 30 seconds.
Strain the liquid into your glass and garnish with a slice of lime.
Hope you enjoy!
Salud to a great Cinco de Mayo!
It’s the most wonderful timeeee of the year!
Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival is a must for us every year. It is so fun to travel through the countries and see what delicious dishes & drinks each one has to offer.
If you have never been, we definitely recommend hitting it up at least once! It runs through November 14th this year.
Here is our trip roundup!
We had such an amazing trip and of course can’t wait to return!
