Thanksgiving Style {casual vs. dressy}

November 4, 2018

With Halloween 2018 gone with a flash we are ready for our November holiday-Thanksgiving! Now I know half of us are busting out our Christmas decor and have Michael Bublé on repeat, but we cannot forget about the magic that is Thanksgiving. As a teacher I’m all about Thanksgiving because we get a week off of school (insert praise hands emoji) and I actually really enjoy finding cute outfits for the occasion.

We are normally a casual bunch when it comes to the Thanksgiving holiday, but it can be really fun to dress up too! Because this is an eating holiday (I mean aren’t they all?) when you dress up you still want to make sure you are comfy and not wearing something that you’ll regret two plates in.

We’re sharing a dressy and a casual ensemble for your Thanksgiving holiday, both of which are SUPER comfortable!

Casual

Now this sweater is quite possibly one of the softest things I’ve ever worn! I love the mock neck, but the absolute best part is the heart shaped elbow patches!! I mean is there any other cuter sweater detail?? I think not.

To stay in my casual lane I paired it with some comfy jeans (if you’re wearing jeans on Thanksgiving make sure they have some give!) and these fun combat boots. I love the red laces because they tie into the heart details.

Dressy

Getting dressed up for Thanksgiving is just as fun-you just want to make sure you are still comfy. The worst part is getting all dressed up to only regret it an hour later and one plate in haha. This dress Tee styled is sooo soft. It’s a thick sweater material, so it stretches with you as you indulge in all the yummy foods and drinks.

She styled it with a low gray heel, but it would look adorable with some knee high boots too! The sleeves have the prettiest ruffle detail and the length is super flattering.

    Hey Tee, You loo really great in that little black dress. I think every woman should have a little black dress.
