Thanksgiving is a little over a week away which is insaneeee to think about! I feel like every year it’s the same thing-the holidays approaching so quickly that in a blink of an eye you’re ringing in the new year!

If you’re like us and the holidays just seem to creep up on you with no warning-let us at least help you with a little holiday outfit inspo!

Now for us, Thanksgiving is a day where we get to spend time with loved ones, eating, watching the parade, eating, watching football, eating…you get the picture!

A ~~big~~ huge part of celebrating Thanksgiving day is the food-so much delicious food! As much as we loveee dressing up for the holidays, we do not want to be uncomfortable on this day. The balance of looking chic and still being able to eat your heart out is where it is at!

A shirt dress is perfect for Thanksgiving day. It is dressy enough but also soo comfortable! Pair it with a belt and some ankle boots, and you have a stylish ensemble that you can relax and eat in all day!

Throwing on a belt with a shirt dress is super flattering and ties the entire look together.

Another great option is leggings with a cozy knit sweater. These Vince Camuto leggings from Ross have faux leather panelling which adds that extra edge and bumps up the dressiness of the look without taking away the comfort. We found some similar pairs here and here!

To quote Joey from Friends, “These are my Thanksgiving pants!”. Besides maternity pants, leggings are probably the next best thing!
