Sweaters for Spring

March 2, 2019

Just because spring is right around the corner (shoutout to March 20th!) doesn’t mean that sweater season is over. I know a lot of you up north are still experiencing snowy days so you are definitely rocking your sweaters, but here in Florida the temps are starting to rise. It is chilly in the morning but come noon we are creeping up to the 80s!

Personally I’m not ready to say goodbye to sweater season because sweaters are sooo cozy and I’ve been really going hard in the paint with the sweets haha. Since we’re not ready to say goodbye we wanted to show you that sweaters can definitely be transitioned into spring!

Pick sweaters in lighter shades.

Dark sweaters, your burgundies, your navy and mustard sweaters, always feel a bit more fall/winterish. When you’re bringing your wardrobe into spring I also gravitate to lighter, brighter shades. These sweaters are the prettiest shades of blue and gray.

Tee’s sweater is SO perfect for spring! From the light gray color, to the pretty ruffle details, it will be in heavy rotation. It would look gorgeous paired with a pretty skirt also. I already borrowed it and rocked it with some high waisted black dress pants and I loved it!

Pick sweaters that are versatile.

Once the temperatures start to warm up you’re not going to be pairing sweaters with heavy pants and boots. Slowly transitioning into spring you can bring out your distressed denim and pair your sweaters with some lighter wash jeans. I loooove this blue sweater. Not only is it sooo soft, it is the prettiest color and I love the grid pattern. It comes in another color here that would also be amazing for spring!

This sweater will look so cute layered over a pretty white dress too! That way you can always take it off if you’re feeling hot.

So even though we’re starting to feel some warmer temps in the south don’t feel the need to pack away all your sweaters just yet!
