FALL in FL

November 9, 2015

Sooo currently in Florida we are experiencing a record setting heat wave. Sweating like we’re in the middle of July is putting a stop to any of our cold weather ensemble ideas. Cozy sweaters, scarves, and coats are probablyyy going to be hanging out in our closets for longer then expected this year.

Even though we can’t currently wear any cold weather appropriate clothes, doesn’t mean we still don’t dress for the season. Fall in Florida mostly consists of incorporating Autumn colors in a wardrobe appropriate for 90 degree Novembers.

Here are some of our ideas for styling a Fall wardrobe in a not sooo Fall climate. If you’re lucky enough to enjoy some crisp November air, take our ideas and throw on a nice coat or jacket and some tights to warm it up!

An amazing pair of leather riding boots are worth the investment! My sister bought me this pair from Vince Camuto four years ago and every Fall & Winter seasons I pull them out and wear them to death!

As much as we complain about the heat, I’m sure soon enough we’ll be complaining of being too cold! But I am definitely looking forward to cozy sweaters and scarves.

We’ll definitely be styling these same outfits when the temps drop! I’ll throw on some tights and a cozy cardigan or peacoat. Kristina will throw on a leather jacket and switch her loafers for some ankle boots.

We’d love to hear your tips for dressing for a warm Autumn season or in an actual color changing, leaves falling on the ground, warm apple cider Fall!
