July 4th is one of our favorite holidays! It’s during Summertime, filled with fun, pools, and cocktails. And it’s an excuse to dress festively in some red, white, and blue.

Now that the new year is here, award season is fast approaching. In our household it has always been a tradition to watch the award shows with our mom.
We would always get excited to see all of the fashion on the red carpet and see the who’s who of Hollywood at these events.

It combines prosecco and grapefruit juice. Just add a little edible gold glitter or sprinkles to the rim to add the Golden Globes touch!

Now you could totally go all out and have your guests come as their favorite celeb or come all dressed up in a gorg Golden Globes worthy gown, buuuut in my opinion I’m all about watching in comfort.

With the Gilmore Girls revival almost here {yay!!!} we thought we’d share our top 10 favorite episodes.
Now we are die-hard GG fans and watched it back when it was on the WB, got all the DVD sets {ohhh the days before Netflix} and still watch reruns religiously. So when they announced a revival we pretty much went crazy!
Black Friday this year will definitely be replaced by Gilmore Friday and we can’t wait. We’ll be counting down with our favorite episodes, and of course some pizza, Chinese food, Twizzlers, Mallomars, really any and all junk food.

Halloween is quickly approaching so we wanted to share two easy and affordable costume ideas that would be perfect for any Halloween party or event!
We followed some easy Youtube tutorials and pictures from Pinterest and came up with some fun and spooky looks!
{Zombie}
This makeup was super easy to recreate. I followed this picture for some zombie inspiration.
This sweater from SheIn is the perfect distressed piece to look zombie chic. And it is sooo unbelievably comfy & affordable! I paired it with some distressed jeans and black ankle boots.
{Little Red Riding Hood}
Tee followed this Youtube tutorial and it turned out great! She wore some black leggings and a black tunic tank from her closet along with some black riding boots.
She ordered this red cape on Amazon which completed the look!

June is seriously flying by!
The fact that the 4th of July is already fast approaching means Summer needs to sloooow down! Last year on the Fourth we celebrated in the Smokey Mountains which was so much fun!
This year we don’t have any fun road trips planned, but I know we will celebrate and of course, dress for the occasion.

With this summer season upon us, Kat and I thought it was time to empty out our closets since they are literally at their breaking point haha. We both consider ourselves clothes hoarders and try to do a clean out at least twice a year. Soooo, even though this was unplanned haha, Kat and I somehow managed to both feature something blue in our outfits! It works out well because we both absolutely love all shades of blue, and it is the perfect color for these warmer months!
Kat loves wearing dresses any chance she gets, so for this outfit she is wearing a summer styled dress she bought on sale from Cotton On!
It is super light, almost a terrycloth material which makes it perfect for this warm weather!
For some added detail, there is a lace up feature on the front. And of course some necessary accessories were in order!
Kat’s fav footwear this season are the lace up sandals! They were a perfect touch for this summer look.
My pop of blue came from a tank I found on clearance at Marshalls! As soon as I saw this color with the detailing I couldn’t pass it up!
I always loved blue and black together, especially a bright blue, so I paired it with some distressed black jeans from Saks off 5th.
The cutouts for the design pattern as well as the keyhole on the back made this shirt worth every penny!
I chose to pair it with some taupe, suede wedges to keep the outfit a bit more dressy!
