We’ve all got go-to Valentine’s Day looks looks under our belt. Classic red, pink, or black dress for a night out. Fun girly heart printed sweater for a Galentine’s day celebration! All of the aforementioned options work for a reason-they’re festive and look great on. But we wanted to switch up our looks this year to put a fun twist on Valentine’s Day.

Last year we featured these pastel Valentine’s Day looks which we loooved. This year we went with pieces that reflect the fun festive feels of the Holiday but are a bit different! These looks would work for a night out with your boo or a fun Galentine’s day celly.

Finding pieces that have romantic details, roses, pretty pink floral prints and adding them to your every day style is perfect for Valentine’s Day. Incorporating edgier details like distressed denim and black leather boots give a cool vibe to an otherwise super girly look!

Tee’s gorgeous floral print blouse was the perfect pop of red and pink. Pairing it with some raw hem denim jeans in a lighter wash and a classic loafer put a different spin on an otherwise classic blouse.

I styled this fun (and SUPER affordable) tee with a houndstooth pencil skirt. I loved the combo of the bright yellow and the houndstooth print! The rose detail on the shirt and bag brought out the Valentine’s Day vibes, while the leather boots put an edgier spin on the look.
