It’s Legging Time!

February 23, 2016

I legit used to hate leggings, and I still don’t wear them all the time, but I’ve slowly warmed up to them haha.  I think it is a good staple to have in your wardrobe just because they are comfy- there’s no denying that.  Also, they’re super easy to pair with tops, and they can be made into something super casual or even dressy.

Kat chose to pair her black leggings, from Marshalls, with a long, flowy top from Nordstrom Rack. The blouse has a nice Southwestern pattern that breaks up the solid black.

She’s wearing some brown Vince Camuto riding boots from Macy’s! One of her fav fashion combos to wear is black and brown.

She added a gorgeous Vince Camuto brown and black bag to compliment the brown boots!

Leggings are perfect to wear to dinner because they’re super stretchy giving you plenty of room to stuff your face! I actually wore them to a super nice restaurant by pairing them with a very dressy blouse and heels.

As everyone knows they’re also perfectttt for when you’re feeling a bit on the bloated sideee, haha. Kat also likes to wear hers with a tank and her converse when she’s feeling that way or just looking to be super casual.

I chose to wear a more of a statement blouse that I got from Nordstrom Rack too! It is Michael Kors and was only $13! My leggings are a bit thicker, which I love, and are from TJMaxx!

I finished the outfit off with black faux fur flats from Marshall’s for $10 and a black Coach bag!

Both Kat and I love wearing extra long tee’s, blouses, sweaters, or tanks with our leggings. We love how loose they are and that they cover our butt of course because no one wants to see that haha.

Please share with us some of your fav ways to style leggings or why you like them or even why you don’t!

I’m not normally a fan of leggings, although I have to agree that they are perfect for when you’re feeling a bit bloated or intend to stuff your face (which I do quite often,).

However, I really love the way you’ve both dressed them up with elegant, floaty tops, so they don’t really look like leggings at all!

    I also love the boots!

Thank you so much Julia! They’re my favorite with flowy tops because it really takes the leggings up a notch and they don’t look so casual. And you can eat whatever you want haha!

I wear long, flowy tops with my leggings too. Perfect for days when I’m feeling bloated, but with the right top…the outfit can look dressed up!
