Celebrating our moms or even the motherly figures in our lives, is really special to Kat and I.  And of course the go-to gift is the bouquet of flowers and a card, but with all that moms do, it is nice to treat them to some special but affordable gifts!

One of our fav things to make for close family members are Shutterfly picture books.  They are so meaningful and always come out beautiful.  You simply upload pictures and lay them out and they turn into a gorgeous book that will last forever. Don’t forget, you can always find a good coupon code!

A reed diffuser is a super simple gift, but perfect for moms that love nice smells whether it be candles, perfume, or air fresheners.  A gift like this is just a nice way to show that you’re thinking of them. Anthropologie has some greatly reviewed diffusers for only $20.

Honestly, most moms either love to cook or do it just so you don’t die of starvation. One of Kat’s absolute fav cookbooks (and one of my all time fav people) is Chrissy Teigen.  Her cookbook is loaded with delicious recipes and is only $15 on Amazon.  What. A. Steal.

Now, jewelry isn’t for every mom, but a cute and simple bracelet is just right for some of the mother’s out there. We love this wishbone bracelet on Etsy. They have so many colors, it’s super light, and a nice mother/daughter accessory!

Prints with cute little sayings on them that remind your mom how much she means to you are another perfect gift idea, that’s affordable of course! Adding a cute frame from Marshalls or TJMaxx is perfect.

Instead of just buying the typical grocery store chocolate boxes for your mom, they have some wonderful truffle boxes out there that provide that added special touch. One of my fav ones is the Prestat Pink Champagne Truffles from Chelsea Market Basket. Giving a box of these and a nice card will certainly make your mom happy. I mean what mom doesn’t like champagne and chocolate?!
