Summer BEAUTY Essentials

June 1, 2017

While it’s not quite yet Summer, here in Florida the weather is definitely tricking us into thinking it is! Once June hits and schools are closed, it is basically Summer in my mind.

To get you ready for the upcoming season we’ve been testing out some fun new beauty/skincare products and a few of them have definitely made it to our must-have essentials for Summer.

A couple of these products have been ride or dies since Summer’s past but these new ones are certainly here to stay!

1. St. Tropez Body Gloss

Perfect all over to make your skin bronze and glossy. I use it on my legs, arms, and chest! I love it because it is fast drying so I don’t get it all over my clothes.

2. Sephora Radiant Luminizing Drops

Love dropping a couple of drops into my foundation for an all over glow. For extra highlight you can dab it directly onto your cheekbones, forehead, nose using a sponge!

3. Fake Bake Flawless Darker Self Tanner

My all time favorite self tanner! I always go back-it’s affordable, easy to use, and gives you a nice natural looking color. Bonus you can order it on Amazon so it’s there whenever you need it! They have a regular version too but I love the darker shade.

4. Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer

Now this is a new love. It feels so lightweight on the skin, has an SPF 15, and keeps my makeup looking fresh all day. I’ve even been using it alone with just some concealer on days I don’t want to do much and I love the way it smooths out my skin.

5. Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

I’ve been using this for about 6 months now and I have to say it is my favorite concealer of all time. It gives amazing coverage and lasts all day! I’ve been loving it lately on its own without foundation for a lightweight Summer no makeup look. I highly recommend!

6. MAC Strobe Cream

This is an oldy but goody. Looks amazing under foundation or on top, on your legs and arms. Put this all over and you feel like a golden goddess laying by the pool or on the beach. Bonus a little goes a looong way.

7. Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit-Nicole Guerriero

Now this glow kit is limited edition and sold out at Sephora, but you can still buy it on the Anastasia website. I’m obsessed. The shades are soooo pretty and intense. These highlights are not for a subtle glow but a more intense gleam if you will haha. I recommend the Becca Highlight in Opal for more of a natural glow, which is definitely a ride or die product for me.

Both of these highlighters look amazing all over the skin. I love layering them on top of the Sephora drops and the St. Tropez body gloss.

8. Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray

I know I talk about this all the time, but it is seriously the best. You need it in your life, in your purse, around your neck as a necklace (I seriously might look into this). It’s a definite Summer essential.

9. NeoCell Beauty Bursts

I’ve been using these for about a month and so far I really like them. I feel like my skin is brighter and smoother. I was originally using the OLLY Vibrant Skin gummies and while they taste better in my opinion, they only have 120 mg of Collagen per serving while the Beauty Burst have 2,000 mg! I’ll definitely keep using them and report back after a couple of months.

10. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen

Now this couldn’t be a Summer beauty essentials without sunscreen! This is still my favorite sunscreen and I’ve tried quite a few living here in Florida. It is affordable and super lightweight. It’s great for all over the body and works amazingly under foundation. It dries super quick which a plus and doesn’t run off when you’re sweating (huge bonus in this humidity!)

Let us know some of your must have beauty essentials for the Summer months! And give us a shout if you try any of these out!
