//Favorite Everyday Makeup Products//

November 18, 2015

If you know me, you know that along with fashion I loveee anything makeup related. I love trying new products and techniques (even if I’m not always the best at it!). On the weekends, I love going all out with my makeup because as a teacher, during the week I reallyyy don’t have much time to get ready in the morning.

I’ve gotten my makeup routine during the week down to under 10 minutes, and I use some super affordable products to do it! Waking up at the crack of dawn comes with some dark under eye circles so I swear by these few products to complete a fresh faced look that won’t scare my students!

Foundation: L’oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation

I’ve been using this foundation the past few months, and I am obsessed. I do have oily skin, and it keeps me matte even in super-hot and humid Florida! I have tried tons of high end to low end foundations, and I honestly feel like this one beats them all for me.

Concealer: Maybelline Fit Me

This concealer is great for everyday wear. It has good, buildable coverage that’s not too heavy. It is also great for highlighting your face because it is so creamy and blendable.

Face Powder: L’oreal True Match Powder

Now, I use this powder to contour my face. During the week before work I am notttt creating any kinds of fierce contours! But I still like to add dimension to my face after I flatten it out with foundation. I use the True Match Powder in a cool shade that’s a few shades darker than my skin and a big fluffy brush and buff it under my cheekbones, my forehead (I like to minimize my forehead as much as possible!), and down my jawline and neck. This just brings out the natural contours that are already on your face.

When I’m going all out with my makeup I like to contour with this powder but I use a more precise brush.

Bronzer: NYX Blush in Terra Cotta

I love NYX blush because I feel like they are really great quality for the price. They have great colors and are very blendable. I am mentioning this shade in particular because I use it more like a bronzer. This is a gorgeous shade to bronze the face with because it is light with a of touch shimmer, not muddy or glittery. I also like to throw this over another blush to add that extra oomph!

Blush: Wet ‘n Wild blush

Now these blushes are basically a steal {under $3!} My favorite shades are Pearlescent Pink, and I love Mellow Wine for this time of year!

They are really pigmented so sometimes you need to be careful not to put too much on your brush.

Eye Pencil: NYX eye pencils

Screen Shot 2015-11-18 at 6.10.02 PMThese pencils are really soft and blendable. Bronze is my favorite color and looks great with so many looks. Sometimes during the week I just like to smudge it on my upper lash line to add a little bit of a liner effect that bumps up my lashes but still looks soft. NYX products are a great deal at Nordstrom Rack and I often buy one get one half off at ULTA.

Mascara: No7 extreme length mascara

My sister told me about this mascara and we had to hunt it down because it was always sold out at our Target. It is very buildable without getting clumpy which I love and, it makes your lashes super longggg!

Brow Pencil: Covergirl Brow & Eye Makers

I am a little eyebrow obsessed. If I do nothing on my face I will still do my brows because mine are very sparse in areas naturally.

Brows frame the face and I’m always jealous of people who have awesome brows without having to fill them in! I have tried high end brow products and I do love the Anastasia Brow Wiz, but it is so pricey for a product that I use daily. I love how affordable this pencil is (it comes in a pack of two), but it is still blendable and waterproof. I use two colors midnight brown and soft brown and just mimic hairs by lightly drawing them in. I like to brush through with a spooly as I work to make them look nice and natural {even though they aren’t}.

Brow Gel: Maybelline Great Lash Clear

I love this as a brow gel. I just run it through my brows after I’m done filling them in and they are set for the day!

Lipcolor: ColourPop Liquid Lipsticks and Lippie sticks

I love a matte lip, especially for Fall and Winter seasons. Coulorpop makes super affordable lip products that last forever and have a gorg color selection. You do have to order them online, but the price point is worth it {$6 and under!} They also make amazing shadows as well!

Beauty Tool: Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Now for putting on foundation this sponge is my favorite tool to use. I have tried the Beauty Blender which is much pricier {$20} than this Real Techniques sponge, and I feel like they work equally as good! It blends out foundation and concealer perfectly so that it never looks cakey and I even use it for my cream highlighters and contour products.

As I said I loveeee makeup, and I will have to do another post on my makeup storage and other favorite products soon. My only affordable makeup complaint is that I cannot seem to find a good highlighter under $20! My two favorites are The Balm Mary Loumanizer and Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal.

I do believe they are worth the splurge, but let me know if you find any great affordable ones!
