Sooo, most people who partake in making a New Year’s resolution often decide that one of them should be to get in shape by either working out, eating healthier, or both. It would be great if doing these things would be as easy as saying you will, haha, but typically work, food, and alcohol get in the way!
Kat and I really just wanted to try to eat better and work out during the week and then on Friday and Saturday’s allow ourselves to drink and eat what we want. Honestly, you shouldn’t deprive yourself completely of what you enjoy. Allowing yourself to let loose on the weekend will hopefully make it easier to stick with the healthy eating and workouts during the week.
Since I HATE working out but love physical activities, I am choosing to play basketball and bike as my workout and possibly do a workout video known as Kettleworx (which I actually don’t mind.)
Kat has been trying these 20-30 minute YouTube videos as her workout routine. Funnily enough even though I don’t enjoy working out I probably do own more workout clothes than someone with a gym membership. I just love how comfy they are and how easy it is to just throw them on to run errands, walk the dogs, or lounge around in.
One of my fav stores to buy workout gear in is Bealls. I seriously can’t find a better deal anywhere else. Although Marshall’s, TJMaxx, and Ross have tons of workout wear, it isn’t as good of a deal as at Bealls.

It is absolutely crazy that we are now moving on from the Holidays and into 2016! We hope you all had a wonderful Holiday and a great New Year’s Eve!
One of my favorite ways to start the New Year is going through my closet and giving away items I didn’t wear the previous year. This gives me added room to shop all the amazinggg after Holiday sales, haha!
It gives you a new outlook on the clothes you do have in your closet and gives you a fresh start for the New Year.

The thing about after Holiday sales is that pieces range from cold weather coats and sweaters to seasons ago summer dresses and tanks. I love that you can get some great deals on sweaters to wear now and dresses to save for spring and summer time.
This is also a great time to look for formal dresses you made need for the upcoming year. So many stores put their more formal dresses on sale because the Holidays are now over.

These dresses are perfect for Spring and Summer, but could also be layered with a jacket for the chillier months still ahead. Bonus that they’re all $15 and under!

Zara sales are not one to miss! Their pieces are amazing quality and the prices are on point during sale time.
I love Zara’s shoes so this is a great time to scoop up a few pairs!

As you guys know I am an avid Forever 21 online shopper because of their affordable prices. During their sales, their prices are even lower {which is crazy!} and they have some great winter pieces to grab!

Clear the Rack is the sale at Nordstrom Rack where every clearance item was an extra 25% off!
